A meeting of the minds....

Many of you wondered how I had time to have such a successful holiday season? Well, I did most of the work at night when Jack went to bed but my husband also helped keep Jack busy when I was super busy! My mom also did a few days of babysitting so I could get things done and that was a huge help. Sometimes, in a rush, Jack played in my workshop around my noisy machine!

As many of you know I have participated in several breast cancer awareness events but I am most proud of the 3, 60 mile walks I have participated in. (2 in Chicago, 1 in San Diego) I know October is almost over but finally got around to making a shirt for myself. My dear friend Susan lost her battle with breast cancer over 3 years ago and I will do all I can to help raise money for research so we can win the battle eventually. I am planning to participate in another 60 mile event in 2009 so stay posted for more details!

Oh to be in college again! I got an amusing voicemail last night from my cousin Eve letting me know she has big/little this week and wondered if I could do something for her!!! Well of course I started reminiscing and couldn't help but go all out! I would have done more but I have paying customers orders technically ahead of hers and of course I have to overnight her stuff to Kentucky tomorrow so this is what I came up with, with 24 hours notice!

I will post some pictures when I finish up some orders I just received but I have witnessed more babies born this year than I could have imagined!!! I am constantly doing onesies to announce the big news, newborn hats and bibs for the new additions and I love it! Feel free to bring me extra clothes you have hanging in your closet that your child wore once or never at all. A shout out to Gretchen who turned a cute fleece hoody into a sporty little coat for baby James!

Don't forget ladies, makeup bags or personalizing something you already purchased are always great presents for your bridesmaids! If the bride needs something special a cute tank or sweatsuit can be transformed into a personalized creation very easily!

A lot of stocking and tree skirt requests have come my way! Please bring those orders in early as I will not be taking orders past December 1, 2008. (Stockings for a new addition to a family are also a great shower gift!)
